On Dec. 5, 2023, the Council voted to create a new form-based zone, titled Form-Based Urban Neighborhood 3 (FB-UN3), and apply it to the Fleet Block, the City’s former fleet facility. The 10-acre city block is located between 300 and 400 West and 800 and 900 South, and was previously used by Salt Lake City as a fleet maintenance facility that has since been relocated.
