Andrew Wittenberg is the marketing and research manager for Salt Lake City’s Department of Economic Development. Andrew began his career in television news and worked for nearly 15 years covering some of the world’s biggest events. From Utah wildfires to the Sundance Film Festival, even the Super Bowl and two Olympics, Andrew loves being on the front lines of the big story. He was honored with five Emmy awards for his work as both a field journalist and news anchor.
In 2019, Andrew used his experience as a seasoned storyteller to move into Economic Development and tell the story of Salt Lake City as it expands beyond being the jewel of the Intermountain West. He loves learning about new businesses and sharing with them why he’s so passionate about living in Utah. When he’s not working, Andrew enjoys skiing, hiking, a round of golf and exploring new restaurants around the Beehive State with his family.
