NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Engineer, located at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 for Gladiola Street-500 South to 900 South, Job No. 102259. Bids delivered to any other location will not be accepted.
Bids will publicly opened in the Engineering Office located at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 at or about 2:00 p.m., local prevailing time on April 4, 2018.
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer, 349 South 200 East, Suite 100. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required for each complete set. The deposit can be a cashier or company check payable to Salt Lake City Corporation. Major credit cards are also accepted. CDs will be provided at no cost.

To ensure notification of addenda is received, BIDDERS should register as a plan holder with SciQuest at The Utah Supplier Portal (SciQuest)
The construction contract will be awarded in compliance with the City’s Building Improvement and Public Works Bidding Program which takes into account certain factors in the Bidder’s Work Environment (see Salt Lake City Code Section 3.24.225).
ATTENTION TO CONTRACTORS: On Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. a pre-bid meeting will be held at the City Engineer’s office, 349 South 200 East, 6th floor conference room.
Items of work are as follows: Roadway, curb and gutter, landscaping and storm drain.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
