2019 Construction Projects and Excavation Restrictions


lIn accordance with Salt Lake City Ordinance 14.32.085 (Excavation Restrictions), this publication identifies the public way projects scheduled for construction in Calendar Year 2019, including the nature of the excavation restrictions, and the effective date and duration of excavation restrictions. All potential users to whom the excavation restriction applies shall submit an application to the City Engineer to participate in the stated projects to address co-locating facilities or other actions as needed in the best interest of the City. A GIS map showing the 2019 construction projection and previously established excavation restrictions can be viewed on the City’s website at: https://maps.slcgov.com/mws/excavationrestrictions.htm

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM / 2019 STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Effective Date of Restriction: October 2019 to October 2022

Nature of Restriction: All utility excavations.
Effective Date of Restriction: Date to be determined when street asphalt pavement is completed.
Duration of Restriction: Seven (7) years from the completion date of the project.

Project: Brennan Subdivision (widening 500 West from 1600 South to 1700 South)
Nature of Restriction: All utility excavations.
Effective Date of Restriction: Date to be determined when street asphalt pavement is completed.

Project: Cannon Oaks Court (short extension of Cannon Oaks Street at 1500 South)
