Wasatch Plunge Warm Springs Stabilization

Project Updates

The new roof has been completed, except for a few drains that are being repaired. The abatement is completed. The windows and doors protection and security system have been completed.  The CMCG Contractor was selected and is working on the Structural repairs.  We found that the building roof structure is in worse condition than anticipated, so most of the coming upgrades will continue to be structural.

Project Overview

The projects consist of interior and exterior analysis and repairs to the building structure and envelope damaged by age, water, and the seismic events that occurred in Salt Lake City in 2020. The City will hire a CM/GC with historic remodel, renovation, preservation, and restoration experience to perform this work scope.  The design team will assess the current conditions of the facility.  Based on their findings, they’ll establish the project definition and scope of work.  The construction scope must be completed no later than August 31st, 2025.
