There are potentially millions of dollars in government contracts available to small businesses. But many people don’t know about them, or more importantly, they don’t know how to get one. Utah’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Symposium is a great way to expand your reach.

The event, coming up October 16th, will give you direct access to buying staff representing federal, state and local agencies as well as prominent area prime contractors and large businesses. And they’re looking to develop local contracting relationships within our small business community.

Subcontracting is a great way for small businesses to access federal contracts. When awarding a large contract, the government often requires a primary contractor to subcontract out a portion of the work to one or more small businesses.
