NOTICE OF EXCAVATION RESTRICTIONS – 2026 CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
In accordance with Salt Lake City Code Section 14.32.085 (Excavation Restrictions), this publication identifies the public way projects scheduled for construction in Calendar Year 2026, including the nature of the excavation restrictions, and the effective date and duration of excavation restrictions. All potential users to whom the excavation restriction applies shall submit application to the City Engineer to participate in the stated projects to address co-locating facilities or other actions as needed in the best interest of the City. - Van Ness Place (400 East to Terminus End)
- Park Street (Browning Avenue to Sherman Avenue)
- Redondo Avenue (600 East to 700 East)
- 600 South (Cheyenne Street to Jordan River)
- 1100 West (Hayes Avenue to American Avenue)
- Elm Avenue (900 East to McClelland Street)
- Fayette Avenue (Washington Street to 200 West)
- Hollywood Avenue (1900 East to 2000 East)

- Navajo Street (300 South to 600 South)

Nature of Restrictions: All utility excavations
Effective Date of Restrictions: December 2026 to December 2033
Duration of Restriction: Seven (7) years from completion date of project
