Michael grew up in Salt Lake City and attended Mountain View Elementary, Glendale Middle School, and East High School. Having participated in after-school programs throughout his childhood, he developed an early appreciation for the positive impact these programs can have on young people.
While attending high school, Michael took Early Childhood Education courses where he discovered a passion for working with youth. This experience inspired him to pursue a career focused on out-of-school-time care and supporting young people beyond the classroom.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing and watching soccer, attending live music events, and spending time in nature—whether going for a walk, taking a hike, or simply relaxing outdoors.
