Pay a Parking or Civil Citation

Payments can be made in the Salt Lake City & County Building (City Hall) room #225 by cash, check, or credit/debit card. Please visit room #145 if you wish to request a hearing or speak with a Collection’s Officer.

Need to know

All parking and civil citations are sent to the Collection Unit after 40 days from issue date.
Mailed payments will be processed and credited as partial payments if they are received later than the due date listed on the letter or citation.

Steps

Online Payments

Open online payment center.
Search for your parking or civil citation.
You will be prompted to pay by credit card.
- Credit card payments have a 2.4% processing fee.

Pay by Mail

If mailing in your payment, make checks or money order payable to Salt Lake City Corporation.
Please write citation number on your check or money order.
Do not mail cash.
