ADA Day

Every July, the Accessibility and Disability Commission, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office, celebrates ADA Day in recognition of the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) being signed into law.

This year’s ADA Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 27, 2026, at the Salt Lake City & County Building.

This is a free community event. To RSVP use our online form.

As part of the celebration, the Accessibility and Disability Commission will recognize an individual who has made a meaningful impact advancing accessibility, inclusion, and equity in our community through the 2026 ADA Champion Award.

Nominations for 2026 are now closed.
