Salt Lake City Mayor to address housing, transit, clean air in State of the City address

Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski will address the major challenges and opportunities facing the Capital City in her fourth State of the City address on Jan. 17. Her speech at East High School will include affordable housing, transit, and clean air.

Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments and snacks following the mayor’s speech.

Donations will be also be accepted at Thursday’s event for East High’s washroom. The free, on-campus laundry facility gives students the opportunity to bathe, utilize free toiletries and wash their clothes. The donations being accepted include, towels, washcloths, detergent pods, liquid soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, and hand soap.

Media trucks should park in the lot directly west of the building, which can be entered off of 900 South. Street parking is also available for guests.
