At their October 5, 2021 meeting, the Council chose District 3’s Chris Wharton as the new Vice Chair through 2021 and District 2’s Dennis Faris to take over former District 1 Council Member James Rogers’ seat on the Utah Inland Port Board Authority. The Council also adopted resolutions recognizing November as Native American Heritage Month, declaring October 11 as Indigenous Peoples Day in Salt Lake City, and more.
