Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall launched a new website to track the progress of the City’s Public Safety Plan. This action follows up on the Plan’s promise that the City will hold itself accountable for changes in its control.

“It’s not enough to take action—we must also ensure residents can see the progress we’re making,” said Mayor Mendenhall. “This website does exactly that and then some, providing updates on the steps we’ve already taken in just 25 days since the Plan’s release, as well as outlining key legislative recommendations for lawmakers.”

Of the 27 actions the City committed to, three are complete, and 24 are in progress. The website will be updated regularly as additional steps are taken.

The Public Safety Plan website is now live at www.slc.gov/publicsafetyplan.
