Following LiveSwitch’s expansion to Salt Lake City, the technology provider is creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs

LiveSwitch, a video communications technology company, has expanded in Downtown Salt Lake City, drawn here by the city’s shared values, particularly its support for entrepreneurs and community partnerships. Their expansion brings new opportunities to help local businesses grow and compete in a tech-driven world.

Brian Hamilton, chairman of the executive committee at LiveSwitch, noted that Salt Lake City’s vibrant downtown environment and easy access to amenities made a strong impression during his tour with the City’s Department of Economic Development. He highlighted the city’s proximity to the airport and its walkable, car‑light lifestyle as key advantages for LiveSwitch’s workforce.

“Meeting with Mayor Mendenhall and the Economic Development team made it clear that Salt Lake City is deeply committed to backing its local entrepreneurs,” said LiveSwitch co-founder Brian Hamilton. “At LiveSwitch, we are dedicated to supporting the small businesses and service providers who serve as the backbone of the economy. For Salt Lake City, attracting new companies is part of a broader effort to create opportunities for residents to build careers and businesses to start, stay, and grow here. The City’s economic development team pairs business recruitment with support for existing employers and entrepreneurs, helping both new arrivals and established businesses find resources, navigate expansion, and build local connections.

LiveSwitch is offering free lifetime access to its communications technology to small Salt Lake City based businesses that register before October 23, 2026. Their software is for a range of organizations, including home services, skilled trades, property management, cleaning and restoration, landscaping, transportation, and other field-service industries.
