The public can comment online through Zoom or in person at the City & County Building. Register to speak on Zoom.

Those who would like to speak must register. Those attending in person will fill out a comment card at the meeting. 

All comments submitted during public comment become part of the public record. All attendees must follow the Public Meeting Rules.

Parking is available at the City Library and can be validated by Council staff.

 

2 p.m. Community Reinvestment Board Meeting – Room 326  

The Council also serves as the Board of Directors for Salt Lake City’s Community Reinvestment Agency (C.R.A.) (formerly the Redevelopment Agency). The Board discusses City business, takes public comments, and votes on proposals. 

Public hearings scheduled for this date include: 

• • Resolution: CRA Budget Amendment No.2 for Fiscal Year 2025-26

4 p.m. * Work Session – Room 326  

Work Sessions are listen-in only, *starting at 4 p.m. or immediately after the C.R.A. meeting and ending at approximately 6:30 p.m.  

 

 7 p.m. Formal Meeting – Room 315

Formal meetings start at 7 p.m. and end upon the conclusion of items listed on the agenda. The Council holds public hearings and votes in formal meetings. There is also a one-hour time slot for general comments.

• Grant Applications (will be heard as one public hearing)
  • Innovative Finance and Asset Concession Grant Program
  • Fiscal Year 2024 COPS Technology and Equipment Program Invitational Solicitation Grant
• Ordinance: RMF-35 and RMF-45 Multi-Family Zoning District Text Amendment
• Ordinance: Wildland Urban Interface Fire Code Text Amendment
