Agendas are published at least 24 hours before the meeting starts. Sign up to receive an email notification when we publish meeting agendas.
Parking is available at the City Library and can be validated by Council staff.
2 p.m. Community Reinvestment Board Meeting – Room 326
The Council also serves as the Board of Directors for Salt Lake City’s Community Reinvestment Agency (C.R.A.). The Board discusses City business, takes public comments, and votes on proposals.
4 p.m. * Work Session – Room 326
Work Sessions are listen-in only, *starting at 4 p.m. or immediately after the C.R.A. meeting and ending at approximately 6:30 p.m.
7 p.m. Formal Meeting – Room 315
Formal meetings start at 7 p.m. and end upon the conclusion of items listed on the agenda. The Council holds public hearings and votes in formal meetings. There is also a one-hour time slot for general comments.
Public hearings scheduled for this date include:
- Grant application for the Jordan River Trail through the Tourism, Recreation, Cultural, Convention and Airport Facilities Tax Act (TRCC).
- Grant application for the Red Pine Dam through the State Dam Safety Grant Program.
- Proposal to permanently close portions of two alleyways within Jefferson Park to support planned park improvements.
- Proposal to vacate a City-owned alley at approximately 567 East Warnock Avenue.
- Proposed amendments to Salt Lake City’s zoning code related to mobile businesses on private property.
- Proposed waiver of proximity for Via Veneto Pizzarium at 511 East 900 South to support a state liquor license application.
To share comments with the Council, register online or in person. Online registration opens 24 hours before the meeting. General comment registration closes at 7:30 p.m. You can register to speak on a public hearing item until the hearing closes.
Those attending in person will fill out a comment card at the meeting.
