Join us for the inauguration and oath of office ceremony of Erin Mendenhall as Mayor and Alejandro Puy, Eva Lopez Chavez, Dan Dugan, and Sarah Young as Council Members. 

LOCATION CHANGE: The event will take place at the Salt Lake City Main Library in the Nancy Tessman Auditorium. The auditorium may be accessed through the Library’s Plaza entrance. Due to construction, the 200 East/400 South entrance is closed.

A live broadcast will be available online at www.slctv.com and on YouTube and Facebook. Comcast and Prism TV subscribers can view the event on the City’s Government and Public Access Channel, Channel 17. 

Parking: 

Attendees are encouraged to take public transportation; the closest TRAX station is the Library stop. Visit RIDE UTA for the schedules and maps.   

Free parking is available in the Salt Lake City Library’s underground parking structure between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. You can access the parking structure from westbound 500 South or eastbound 400 South between 200 and 300 East.   

Accessibility & Accommodations: 

This event is accessible to wheelchair users and offers assistive listening devices, reserved seating for people with disabilities, and ADA-accessible parking. 

ADA parking stalls are available on each level of the library parking garage. Additionally, vehicles displaying a disability license plate or placard and transporting a person with a disability may park at any City parking meter without charge for up to two hours.

Spanish and ASL interpreters will be located inside the auditorium.

200 East will be closed to traffic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Media vehicles will have access to parking via an officer at the 400 South/200 East barricade. A designated media area will be in front of the auditorium’s AV booth
