Jake Maxwell has nearly 9 years experience with the State of Utah Department of Workforce Services, serving in a variety of roles and programs designed to prepare and connect Utah’s Workforce to employers. For the last 5 years with the State, he focused specifically on homeless initiatives and developed a comprehensive understanding of Salt Lake City homelessness, housing, and wage issues and built a large network of partnerships. A key accomplishment was playing an integral role in developing, launching and managing the workforce program through Operation Rio Grande Phase 3: Dignity of Work, executed by the Governor. In my spare time, he can be found pedaling a bike year round or spending time with my family.
