Event Details
Celebrate National Public Lands Day with a scavenger hunt across some of Salt Lake City’s most iconic green spaces! Complete activities in the scavenger hunt booklet as you explore public lands across Salt Lake City.
How to Participate:
-Pick up a booklet at Public Lands Community Events throughout August and September OR print out the booklet at home.
-Record or check off each completed task in your booklet.
-Complete at least 15 tasks to qualify for a prize.
Turn in your booklet
Bring your completed booklet to the National Public Lands Day celebration on September 26.

Is there a prize for completing the scavenger hunt?
Yes, participants who complete 15 or more tasks and turn in their booklet during the event will receive a prize while supplies last.
How long does the scavenger hunt take?
The Public Lands Day Scavenger Hunt is a choose your own adventure experience! Complete as many tasks as you’d like in August and September to explore everything that the City’s green spaces have to offer. Use this time to connect with your community and nature.
What should participants bring?
Bring your completed booklet to the National Public Lands Day celebration on September 26 at Liberty Park.
