Overview
The Genesee Avenue project, from 900 West to 1000 West, rebuilt the roadway with concrete pavement designed to last up to 40 years. The project widened sidewalks to improve comfort and safety for people walking, including better access to 9th South River Park and the Jordan River Parkway Trail.
It also included upgrades to an underground water line to improve water quality and service for nearby residents. The project was designed in winter 2017, constructed from late spring through mid-summer 2018, and completed in 2019.
