Clean City
Who is Clean City?
In Spring of 2025 the Salt Lake City Council voted to create the Urban Services Division. This new division’s Clean City team has technicians who, during their regular work hours, clean up trash and debris in public space.
While the Clean City team will clear physical debris, they do not provide outreach services to people experiencing homelessness. Outreach is handled by the City’s HEART team and their partners at Volunteers of America.
The goal of the Clean City is to keep public spaces clean, safe, and accessible for everyone.
