Fernando Puga is the Senior Community Programs Manager at YouthCity Central City. He has been managing afterschool programs with YouthCity for over four years, but his journey with YouthCity began in 2013 as a Group Facilitator. Since then, he has worked with YouthCity in various capacities and has been involved with the program nearly every summer.
Fernando has worked with children for over 15 years in many different roles, including family liaison, behavior support, and preschool teacher, to name a few. Throughout his career, he hopes to have made a positive impact on the lives of the people he has had the privilege of working with.
Fernando has lived in Salt Lake City for over 20 years and loves his community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family, visiting amusement parks, trying new foods, playing video games, and watching anime. He is grateful for the opportunity to work for YouthCity alongside an amazing staff, where they can build positive relationships and provide support to the families and community they serve.
