Patty was born in Southern California and first came to Utah in 2008, where she lived for a few years before returning to California. She came back to Utah in 2014 and has called it home ever since. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and has always been interested in working with young people. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going shopping.
Patty came to YouthCity 11 years ago and started as a Teen Specialist for the Northwest Teen Program. She has always wanted to help kids, and middle school-age youth have always been her favorite age group. She later expanded her experience to include adult learning and realized that working with adults was just as fulfilling as working with teens. This year, Patty is most excited about being at the Sorenson Center and getting to know the community here.
