Skip the Trip to City Hall!

The Council will host its Oct. 7 meeting at the Sorenson Unity Center on the Westside. We’re making it easier to reach your local government by bringing the meeting into the community.  

Please note: This will be an in-person–only meeting. A Zoom option will not be available.

Watch and Participate Without Attending

If you can’t join us at the Sorenson Unity Center, you still have several ways to stay involved:

• Watch online: Meetings are streamed live and available on-demand through the Meeting Agenda Portal and YouTube.
• Share your input anytime: Public comments are always welcome online, by mail, email, or phone. All comments received through these options become part of the official record.

• Location: Sorenson Unity Center, 1383 S. 900 W. 

• Work Session: 2 – 5:30 p.m. 

• Dinner: 5:30 – 7 p.m. 

• Formal Meeting: 7 p.m. 

We invite you to join us for dinner and share your comments on any topic during the 7 p.m. formal meeting.

Getting to the Meeting

The public is encouraged to take public transit or GREENbike to the Sorenson Unity Center. Use the UTA Transit app or your favorite navigation app to plan your route to one of the Center’s five nearby bus stops. A GREENbike rack is located next to the Center on California Ave. Use the BCycle app to plan and start your ride.

 

Agendas and Public Meeting Rules.

Agendas are published at least 24 hours before the meeting starts. Sign up to receive an email notification when we publish meeting agendas. Those who would like to speak must register. All comments submitted during public comment become part of the public record. All attendees must follow the Public Meeting Rules.
