E-Scooter Courtesy

E-scooters have become a popular way to get around the city, offering convenience and flexibility for short trips. However, improper use and parking can create hazards for pedestrians, especially those with mobility challenges.

Keep these rules in mind when taking your next trip:

  • Sidewalk riding is prohibited.
  • Park e-scooters between the sidewalk’s edge and the curb–never blocking sidewalks or accessibility ramps.
  • Don’t leave e-scooters at bus stops, TRAX stations, bike racks, or parking spots.

You can report e-scooter issues using the MySLC app or by visiting myslc.gov.

For more information on how to be a courteous rider, visit the Shared Mobility web page.

Remember, considerate e-scooter use makes our community more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Let’s all do our part!
