As temperatures rise, it’s important for everyone to find ways to stay safe and cool. Salt Lake County has designated several Cool Zones where residents can take a break from the heat and access helpful resources.

Locations in District 4 include the:

  • SLC Main Library (400 S 210 E) – Open to all ages
  • Tenth East Senior Center (237 S 1000 E) – For adults age 60+
  • Geraldine E. King Women’s Resource Center (131 E 700 S) – For women age 18+

Want to support your neighbors during the heat? Consider donating bottled water to the Gail Miller Resource Center or Pamela Atkinson Resource Center daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can also make donations by appointment at the Connie Crosby Family Resource Center.
