PCE Treatability Studies at the 400 South 1600 East Superfund Site

Noise Alert: The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is conducting a treatability study at the 700 South 1600 East Tetrachloroethene (PCE) Plume Superfund Site. The study aims to identify the best ways to remove PCE from groundwater.

Most of the drilling will take place on the VHA campus, with some drilling on Guardsman Way and 900 South through July from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., including at least one weekend at each location.

Please be aware that the noise will resemble heavy construction equipment, like a bulldozer. For questions about the work, please contact Shannon Smith at 801-582-1565, ext. 2021, or Shannon.Smith92@va.gov. For more information, visit pceplume.org
