Salt Lake City is hosting the 68th Annual United Nations Civil Society conference, taking place downtown Aug. 26-28. It is the first time in history the conference has been held in the United States outside of New York; the event was announced by Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski’s office earlier this year.
This year’s theme is “Building Inclusive & Sustainable Cities & Communities,” with a focus on making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable by 2030.
