Overview
The Wilmington Avenue reconstruction project, from Highland Drive to 1300 East, replaced deteriorating asphalt with concrete pavement to improve roadway longevity and safety. The project also included installation of a new sewer line, along with new crosswalks, upgraded access ramps, sidewalks, and curbs and gutters to improve walkability and drainage. The project was designed in winter 2017 and completed in June 2018.
