Overview
In 2020, Salt Lake City reconstructed 700 West between 1600 South and 2100 South to extend the roadway’s lifespan through this busy industrial area west of I-15.
The project included new asphalt, curb and gutter for improved drainage, and new sidewalks and pedestrian ramps to enhance safety and comfort. Drive approaches were also added to better define sidewalks and access to nearby businesses and warehouses.
