Overview
During the 2020 street reconstruction season, Salt Lake City improved the look and feel of Whitlock Avenue, from Highland Drive to Elizabeth Street, as part of the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
Project features included new curb and gutter, repairs to sidewalks as needed, upgrades to pedestrian ramps, and the reconstruction of drive approaches. Following completion of the project in September 2020, residents now enjoy a better travel experience thanks to the new asphalt pavement, improved drainage, and easier access into their homes.
