Level 2 charging station info

As of February 6, 2018, there’s no fee to use Salt Lake City’s Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
Use the ChargePoint app to check station availability in real-time.

Important reminders:

  • Follow the posted time limits while your EV is charging. If you stay too long, you may get a ticket.
  • If you go over the time limit, you could be charged a $75 overstay fee (City ordinance 12.56.205).
  • Charging activity is tracked through the ChargePoint system to help enforce time limits.

To report a car that’s overstayed its time at an EV charging spot, call Urban Services at 801-535-6628.
