Impounded vehicle help

If your car is booted (immobilized with a device) or towed to a storage lot because of a parking violation, it’s considered impounded under Salt Lake City Ordinance 12.96.010.

Impoundment means a parking violation resulted in the immobilization of a vehicle by use of an immobilization device or the towing of a vehicle to a place of storage.

The City uses Cartow, a third-party to tow and manage the impound lot.
