The Public Services Department’s Compliance Division is hiring School Crossing Guards! This is a great part-time position to earn extra income. The Street Crossing Guard is at school crossings during hours when children are going to or coming from school. They direct actions of children and traffic at street intersections to ensure safe crossing, record license numbers of vehicles disregarding traffic signals and reports infractions to Crossing Guard Coordinator, and escort children across street. Crossing guards are paid per shift worked.
