Traffic Signal Technician

The Streets Division Traffic Signals Program provides routine and responsive maintenance to City Street traffic and pedestrian signals in Salt Lake City. Signal Technicians respond to malfunctioning and out signals to ensure the safety of vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic. The Traffic Signals Program also performs routine maintenance to all traffic and pedestrian signals throughout the city by changing out signal LEDs, cabinet inspection and maintenance, and other maintenance. ​​​​​​​
