Traffic Maintenance Operator

The Traffic Maintenance Operator is responsible for operating specialized equipment used to install and maintain traffic control signs and pavement markings. This includes tasks such as installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signs, parking meters, and roadway markings in accordance with safety standards and regulations. The operator utilizes a variety of equipment, including road stripers, trucks, plows, and paint sprayers. Additionally, the role involves managing inventories, maintaining records, and ensuring that street projects align with marking schedules.
