Human Rights Day 2025

Every year in December, the Salt Lake City Human Rights Commission hosts a celebration in honor of the Human Rights Day marked on December 10th. The celebration will be held on Wednesday, December 10th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Utah State Capitol Building (Rotunda – Second Floor).

As part of this event, the Human Rights Commission recognizes individuals and organizations who have made an impact in Salt Lake City with their work in human rights. The Commission is now accepting nominations for the following awards:

Emerging Leader for Human Rights Award

Inspirational Advocate for Human Rights Award

Community Partner for Human Rights Award
