“I am greatly saddened to hear of Senator Bob Bennett’s death. As a member of the Utah State Legislature, I had a few occasions to work with Sen. Bennett, and each of these experiences was marked by a mutual respect of the job we were doing for the people of Utah. I can tell you first hand, Sen. Bennett made Utah a better place by ensuring our tax dollars came back to our state to improve our roads and infrastructure. He was a pragmatic leader in Washington who reached across party lines to get work done, something we could use more of in our current political climate. My heart goes out to his family, and I hope they find a level of peace in the outpouring of love for their husband and father.”
