The Salt Lake City Arts Council is delighted to open the doors of the Finch Lane Gallery, 54 Finch Lane, for the 35th Annual Holiday Craft Market. The market officially opens to the general public on Friday, November 30, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Holiday Craft Market features work by a variety of Utah artists and includes jewelry, ceramics, textiles, artwork, prints and letterpress items, art glass, holiday decorations, items for the home, and artisan foods.
With more than 90 artists in the market, the Arts Council continues a tradition of providing local artists an intimate and inviting venue to sell their work, highlighting the unique talents of local artists. “We understand the importance of supporting local artists, showcasing their talents, and the economic benefit of a vibrant and thriving arts and culture community,” says Salt Lake City Economic Development Director, Lara Fritts. “This is made more clear by the continued success of the Holiday Craft Market, and Salt Lake City is proud to be able to provide such a great opportunity not only for our local artists, but also our residents and visitors this holiday season.”
This year’s Holiday Craft Market will be open daily from November 30, 2018 – December 19, 2018. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Special gallery stroll extended hours on Friday, December 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
