The Wave Women, a new co-working and social club for women and marginalized genders, recently opened in Salt Lake City. The Wave is located downtown at 32 East Exchange Place, in the renovated Commercial Club Building, which was built in 1909 and originally opened as a men’s club. The Wave occupies 17,000 square feet used for co-working, networking, mentoring, community events, and more.

The goal of The Wave is to provide high quality, pro-women programming for their members, so they can socialize and grow professionally. They offer on-site childcare so that women can have meetings or attend events and know that their children are in a safe place and cared for. The Wave received an EDLF loan for operating expenses. The loan will help them increase membership, hire new employees, and continue to grow in Salt Lake City.
