Outdoor Business Permits
An Outdoor Business Permit allows for temporary obstructions, such as dining tables, clothes racks, and displays, that support a business storefront and are limited to business hours. Outdoor Business Permits allow for the expansion of business functions to outdoor spaces and
will be approved for a permit by the City when the functions do not interfere with the public’s safety, convenience, use, or enjoyment of the public way. All elements in the agreements must be moved from the public way when the business is closed.
Fees for outdoor business will be a standard fee set forth in the City’s Consolidated Fee Schedule. Refer to the Outdoor Business Guide for the submittal process, fees, guidelines, and requirements.
