Donner Trail Park was selected as one of two District Six projects to receive Parks, Trails, & Open Space Bond funding. The Public Lands Department established criteria to help guide which space would receive funding, such as condition and quality, lack of investment, safety, and level of demand in the area. These projects aim to improve access to parks and open spaces in each Council district. Public Lands spoke with residents to learn what they’d like improved at Donner Trail Park, and the engagement survey results will be published in the coming weeks.
