Environmental Reviews

Environmental Reviews

Many programs using SLC federal funds must complete an environmental review.

What Are Environmental Reviews?

At Salt Lake City we value transparency and promoting public safety. To help with this, we post all records of environmental reviews in our tiered review process. Anyone awarded Salt Lake City HUD funding must complete these environmental reviews. This is to ensure that those with this funding are in compliance with requirements for:

  • Historic preservation.
  • Flood plain safety (FIRM).
  • Noise levels.
  • Fire and chemical concerns.
  • NEPAssist safe sites.

Salt Lake City listed these programs for public review and feedback in 2025. Their reviews are valid until fiscal year 2030. For environmental concerns about utilized funds, or other concerns, contact City staff.

All applicants must submit a Site Specific Environmental Review Form with their application.

Historical Federal Tiered Environmental Reviews

To comply with federal requirements, we post our historical environmental reviews.
