Report urgent street issues after-hours

The Streets Division is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

After-hours emergencies

Outside these hours, the Streets Response Team handles urgent or emergency issues. Call 801-535-2345 to report problems such as:

  • Damaged or fallen street signs
  • Snow or ice issues during or after a storm
  • Hazards in roads or on sidewalks
  • Traffic signal problems
  • Safety concerns in public areas

Other Streets Response Team tasks

The team also handles ongoing city maintenance, including:

  • Closing park gates
  • Restocking crosswalk flags
  • Street sweeping and trash routes
  • Moving driver feedback signs
  • Setting up traffic control for road work or events
  • Removing downed tree limbs and foliage
  • Cleaning graffiti
  • Monitoring snow routes and staying ready for storms
