Illegal dumping is any trash, green waste, or other solid or liquid waste left on public property without permission that is too large, heavy, or hazardous to be safely picked up without specialized training or equipment.
To request a cleanup of illegally dumped materials, please click the button below to submit a service request with the following information:
- Location
- Description of materials

- Phone number in case of follow up questions.
You can also report an illegal dumping incident by calling 801-535-6999 (Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or email [email protected].
Residents can help the Sustainability Department prevent illegal dumping, which can present a public health hazard and cost taxpayers money. If you subscribe to City trash service, you can schedule bulk pickup – one green waste and one bulk – for free every year.
