Glendale Library E Waste Collection Event

Give your hard-to-recycle electronic items a chance to be recycled properly! Please join us for our first e-waste recycling event on Saturday June 20th at the Glendale Library from 9 am to 12 pm.

Dropoff is free, open to all residents (no commercial customers please). This event will be operated by our partners at METech, with the full support of the Waste & Recycling division. Please bring items listed below and we’ll dispose of them sustainably.

  • Loose or Damaged Batteries (burnt, bulging, leaking) 
  • Pressurized Containers (fire extinguishers, propane/butane canisters)  
  • Non-Electronic Waste (items lacking both a circuit board and a power cord)  
  • Large Household Appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, water heaters, water coolers, air conditioners, space heaters)  
  • Trash/Food Waste/Garbage/Green Waste
