Design Concepts

Westminster Avenue

Westminster Avenue

The curb will be extended on the south corner of the intersection with Westminster Avenue to square up access off of Foothill Drive.

This change encourages:

  • Slower turns coming from Foothill Drive onto Westminster Avenue.
  • Improved visibility of oncoming traffic for vehicles exiting Westminster Avenue onto Foothill Drive.
  • A safer crossing distance for individuals crossing the street.

2500 East and Blaine Avenue

2500 East and Blaine Avenue

2500 East at the intersection with Blaine Avenue will be receiving speed cushions and a marked crosswalk. The speed cushions will help to slow speeding vehicles coming from Foothill Drive while allowing emergency vehicles access to the area with minimal slowing.
