Proposed FY27 Budget
Salt Lake City is proposing rate increases for water, sewer, stormwater, street lighting, and curbside waste services as part of the fiscal year 2027 budget. The specific increase you may see depends on the services you receive from Salt Lake City, and not all customers will be affected in the same way.
Any changes to your bill would be percentage-based, vary by usage and account type, and would take effect in July 2026. To understand which increases may apply to you, please review the sections below for details on each service.
