Salt Lake City is continuing its efforts to improve roads and multimodal transportation in Sugar House and the surrounding area by constructing improvements along 1300 East.

There will be a public open house to review the proposed design for 1300 East between 2100 South and Elgin Avenue and to provide feedback prior to construction in 2025.

WHEN: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023

WHERE: Highland Park Elementary School, 1738 East 2700 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84106

As part of this effort, Salt Lake City completed an environmental study to evaluate concept design options and select improvements to prolong the life of the roadway, provide a smooth road, and enhance safety.

If residents cannot attend the open house, visit 1300eastslc.com to learn more about the project and provide feedback on the proposed design. Meeting materials will be posted on the website the following day.
