Fairmont Park Improvements 

Improvements are coming to Fairmont Park! In 2022, voters approved an $85 million Parks, Trails, & Open Space Bond, which includes $5 million for future improvements and another $1.5 million for safety enhancements at Fairmont Park. 

Opportunities for community feedback about this project are coming soon! Stay tuned for updates, additional resources, and ways to get involved.  

Safety Improvements 

Safety improvements at Fairmont Park have already begun! So far, the City has installed a camera to deter crime in the area. 

Future safety improvements could include: 

• Lighting fields and other activity areas at night 
• Lighting walking and biking paths 
• Implementing recommendations identified in a potential Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) review 
• Restroom updates
